Jesus said to pray like this:

“Our Father which art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. THY KINGDOM COME, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew 6)

I wonder sometimes if we all realize what we are praying for when we pray for God’s kingdom to come “on earth as it is in Heaven.” God’s Kingdom has a King. It is not a democracy. When we are “birthed” into God’s kingdom by faith we “dethrone” ourselves from the control booth of our lives. We give Jesus access and dominion over us and allow Him to become King of Kings and Lord of Lords over who we are.

He will lead us in “paths of righteousness” and He will be our shepherd. He will care for our souls and bring his Holy Spirit to live inside us. He will even give us the “mind of Christ.” He is a good and Holy God.

Jesus said the “kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21)

It is His desire to bring us to the place wherein we are able to function and become effective as Kingdom dwellers.

In Matthew 16:15 Jesus asked Peter, “Who do you say that I am?”
Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus answered and said, “Blessed are you Simon Bar-Jonah for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in Heaven. And I say to you that you are Peter and on this rock I will build My church and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it.”

Jesus was looking for this connection in Peter. He saw that the Father in Heaven was giving Peter the revelation of who Jesus really was. It was a revelation, a knowing born of the very Spirit of God. Jesus recognized it immediately. He replied to Peter that He (Jesus) also recognized Peter (“You are Peter”). Jesus is giving us an example of a working relationship, one in which both parties recognize who each other is.

Relationship is the connective tissue of the Kingdom of God. Peter knew who Jesus was and Jesus knew who Peter was. Jesus went on to say that “upon this rock I will build my church.” Scripture tells us that “Rock was Christ.” (I Cor.10:4)

Jesus tells Peter He will build HIS church upon THIS ROCK. THIS ROCK is Himself and the solid foundation of KNOWING HIM. It is this cognizant understanding and knowing that was revealed through the Spirit of God to Peter which Jesus is addressing.

What was encountered here in this passage is the Spirit of Revelation.

This is what Jesus desires for His children to have today: the supernatural revelation of Knowing Him that is based upon His Word of Truth accompanied by the life giving breath of the spirit of God. He desires to be worshipped in “spirit and in truth” just as He said would happen when He spoke to the woman at the well of Samaria in John 4:23.

Jesus desires to pour out upon His church the spirit of revelation, wisdom and knowledge, the reason being that of Knowing Him. He never intended that supernatural revelation would stop at the end of his conversation with Peter. He is the Light of the world. Who He Is has been revealed in His word and is also revealed by and through His Holy Spirit. He desires to pour out more and more of this spirit of revelation upon His children in these days in which we are living, that we might know Him as we have never known Him before.

On Feb. 11, 2006 I received a vision from the Lord.

In this vision I saw a woman crawling on her hands and knees. She was surrounded by hundreds of puzzle pieces. They were scattered all over the floor. Although in the vision it was obvious that the woman could not see, she was still grappling for the puzzle pieces and trying desperately to fit them together. Her frustration was very great.

Then I saw light break through from Heaven and bathe her eyes for what seemed like a long time. The light filled and flooded the room. As the light flooded the room the woman’s eyes were opened and as they were opened she could see that all the puzzle pieces were beginning to move toward the center of the light. They were moving across the floor much like pieces of metal are drawn to a magnet. Suddenly it was revealed that these puzzle pieces were actually people. Each puzzle piece was a person and each person was holding a fiery torch. They began to come together in the light and they formed the outline of a map of the United States. Some of them were in the outlying coastal areas and some were positioned inside the “states.”

I began to realize what the spirit of the Lord was showing to me.

The woman was a symbol of the church. She was spiritually blind and had not understanding of God’s vision in what she was doing or of how to accomplish His purposes. Yet she was attempting to unify the puzzle pieces even in her condition. When the light broke forth, it brought the supernatural spirit of revelation to her from Heaven. Her eyes were opened to God’s vision as they were bathed in His spirit of revelation. She then stopped all her futile attempts to bring the purposes of God to pass and simply watched, standing there in His Light as He performed a work far beyond her comprehension and ability!

The “puzzle piece people” are God’s “fire starters”. They are the carriers of God’s Holy Fire, His Holy Presence. By the power of the Holy Spirit’s revelation they were positioned in the places carved out and fashioned by the Lord for each of them across the nation. These “puzzle piece people” were drawn to the light of His revelation for each of them as to where they should be positioned. Many of these people have been hidden from view. They have been waiting for God’s positioning and placement as He is the only One who knows where to use these people in the geographical and spiritual atmosphere that will accept and receive the light they carry. These are the revival fires burning in America.

Man cannot bring about the power of unity and revival fire in his own strength. It must come from the Lord.

God alone knows where and how to position His people for unity and power in these end times. It cannot be done in the strength of man or in his own abilities and understandings. God will position His people for power to be released. He will supernaturally accomplish the unity so longed for by His people and Jesus will receive all the glory!

He is going to answer the prayer of Ephesians 1:17-18 in which Paul prays:

“…may (the Lord) give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding be enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling and what are the riches of His inheritance in the saints.”

The spirit of revelation will come upon the church so that the church will KNOW the hope of her calling. The church will come into her true identity! Without revelation and wisdom the church cannot come into the fullness of knowing him and the “riches of His inheritance in the saints.”

Jesus will bring His church to His side. There is a wooing of the Holy Spirit coming from Heaven. It is calling God’s people to deeper levels of knowing Him and to greater revelation of Who He Is.

Ps. 44 says “For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword nor did their own arm save them but it was Your right hand, Your arm and the light of Your countenance because You favored them.”

Positioning for Power: the release of supernatural revelation, wisdom and knowledge upon God’s people. It is coming to the church.

The Lord Jesus Christ will command the victories for His people.
